Come In We're Sorry was created by over the summer of 2005 as a joint exercise by the student interns of OT!OM! Labs and the Digital Defrabrication Unit of GEE Enterprises. Despite the cultural differences--the OT!OM! interns were reading Borges and GEE DDU interns were reading Calvino, and the debates about the transparency of illusion and the dimensionality of "the open" often extended well past closing time--work progressed in a relatively peaceful fashion.
